अद्यारभ्य दुर्गापूजाया: पर्व यद् शरन्नवरात्रोत्सव इति ज्ञायते। अत्र प्रतिदिनमपि पद्यमेकं स्थापयिष्यते।
प्रारम्भनिमित्तं मातरं दुर्गां प्रकीर्तयत् सप्तविभक्तियुक्तपद्यमेकं अधुनैव स्थाप्यते।
Today the Sarnnavaratri festival commences.to worship the nine forms of the Goddess. Daily I propose to compose a short poem in praise of Goddess Durga. To start with here is a poem consisting of all 7 cases of the word Durga.
दुर्गा तिष्ठति सन्ततं मनसि मे सिंहासने संस्थिता
दुर्गामेव हि पूजये प्रतिदिनं देव्याः कथाः संस्मरन्।
विद्वांसः परिपोषिताः करुणया दिव्याम्बया दुर्गया
दुर्गायै च निवेदयामि मधुरं क्षीरं फलं पायसम्।।
दुर्गाया ह्युपजायते मम बलं शत्रून् प्ररोद्धुं भृशं
दुर्गाया: पदसेवनं शुभकरं विज्ञानसिद्धिप्रदम्।
दुर्गायां ननु वर्तते मम मनो बुद्धिर्बलं काङ्क्षयद्।
हे दुर्गे प्रददातु मे तव कृपां दीक्षाकटाक्षं शुभम्।।
१. *शैलपुत्री*
वन्देSहं शैलपुत्रीं हिमगिरितनयां कन्यकां कोमलाङ्गीं
सर्वालङ्कारभूषा सरसिजवदना सन्ततं प्रेरयेन्माम्
भाषां गीर्वाणवाणीं सकलजनपदान् सत्वरं प्रापयेयम्
भूयान्मन्मातृभूमिर्बुधजनविनुता विश्ववन्द्या पुनश्च ॥

दुर्गाराधनम् -2. *ब्रह्मचारिणी*
श्रीब्रह्मचारिणि शुभे करुणाप्रदात्रि
नित्यं स्मरामि तव पुण्यकथाकदम्बम्।
यच्छेस्सदा हि चिरसंस्कृतकार्यवृद्ध्यै
ज्ञानप्रसादमपि ते करुणाकटाक्षम्।।
दुर्गाराधनम्। *३.चन्द्रघण्टा*
मन्मातृभूम्याः रिपुनाशनाय
गीर्वाणवाण्याः परिपोषणाय।
विद्वज्जनानां परिरक्षणाय
श्रीचन्द्रघण्टां शरणं प्रपद्ये।।
दुर्गाराधनम्। *३.चन्द्रघण्टा*
मन्मातृभूम्याः रिपुनाशनाय
गीर्वाणवाण्याः परिपोषणाय।
विद्वज्जनानां परिरक्षणाय
श्रीचन्द्रघण्डां शरणं प्रपद्ये।।

For destruction of enemies of my motherland, nourishment of Samskrit Language and protecting learned people I surrender to Sri Chandraghantaa.
दुर्गां देवीं कुपितवदनां चन्द्रघण्टां त्रिनेत्रीं
सिंहारूढां खलगणरिपुं शूलहस्तां भवानीम्।
दिव्यां भाषां मुनिवरकृतं संस्कृतं विद्विषाणान्
निर्दाक्षिण्यं प्रमथितुमहं सन्ततं प्रार्थयामि।।

I always pray the angry faced three eyed, Chandraghantaa, Durgadevi, mounted on a lion, holding the spike, destroyer of the team of rougues, Bhavani, to ruthlessly punish the haters of Samskritam, the divine language developed by sages.
दुर्गाराधनम्- *४- कूष्माण्डा*
भजे श्रीकूष्माण्डां सुररिपुरिपुं विश्वजननीं
भवानि त्वं कुर्या: पवितसुरवाणीविकसनम्।
समग्रे देशे वै सुजनहृदि शीघ्रं च कृपया
तदर्थं भो दद्यास्तव चिरकटाक्षं शुभकरम्।।
(शिखरिणी)
I worship Kushmanda, the mother of the Universe, enemy of the Asuras. Oh Bhavani you develop the divine language Samskrit in the whole of the country and the heart of noble people quickly and with kindness. For that you give your auspicious Grace.
दुर्गाराधनम्- *५. स्कन्दमाता*
वन्दे त्वां स्कन्दमातः त्रिभुवनजननीं संस्कृतं पोषयन्तीं
नित्यं मातः पठाम स्तवविजयकथा: धर्मसंरक्षणाय।
अम्ब त्वं यच्छ सौख्यं निरवधिसुखदे दुष्टनिष्कासनेन
तस्मात्सर्वे समाजे सुसरलविधिना संस्कृतं पाठयाम:।।
Oh Skandamaata! I worship you the mother three worlds, nourisher of Samskritam. We read daily your success stories for protection of Dharma. Oh Mother, giver of several comforts, give us well being by eradicating the wicked and thereby all of us shall teach Samskritam in a very lucid manner.
दुर्गाराधनम्- *६, कात्यायनी*।
कात्यायनी रिपुषु सन्ततरुद्ररूपा
श्रीकार्तिकेयजननी शिवशक्तिरूपा।
नित्यं तु संस्कृतपटून् परिपोषयेत् सा
धर्मप्रचारनिरतान् जनसेवनाय।।

Katyayani who is always in Rudra form while among enemies, who is in the form of Siva Sakti as SriKartikeya's mother, shall nourish Samskritam enthusiasts who are engaged in propagation of Dharma as a service to people.
श्रीदेवि कात्यायनि विश्वमात:
वन्दामहे त्वं सततं भवानि।
शीघ्रं निहन्या: खलजातिवृन्दम्
सर्वे पठाम: शुचिसंस्कृतं वै।।

Oh Sridevi, Katyayani, Mother of the universe, Bhavani, we worship you always. Quickly annihilate the crowd of rogues and we shall learn pure Samskritam.

अतुलितबलरूपा कालरात्री भवानी
सुरगणशुभकर्त्री दुर्जनान् मर्दयन्ती।
प्रहरतु खलवृन्दं संस्कृतेः रक्षणाय
सुखयतु निजबन्धून् संस्कृताध्यापकान् वै।।

Kalaratri Bhavani, in the form of incomparable power, killing wicked people, doing good for the Devas, destroy the group of rogues to protect Culture, for sure please your relatives the Samskritam teachers.
त्वामीडे कालरात्रि त्रिभुवनजननि म्लेच्छहन्त्रि त्रिनेत्रि
विन्दामस्ते कटाक्षं द्रुतविजयकरं दुष्टनिष्कासनार्थम्।
भूयो भूयो यतेsहं मम हृदि भवितुं कालरात्रीस्वरूपं
तस्मात् त्वं मे प्रयच्छे र्निरुपमसुखदां संस्कृतज्ञानसिद्धिम्।।

I worship you Oh Kalaratri, the three eyed mother of three worlds and killer of the Cow-flesh eaters, we shall receive your grace that will bring quick victory, for erradicating the wicked people. I keep trying repeatedly to get the form of Kalaratri in my heart. Therefore you bestow me the attainment of Samskritam knowledge, that can give incomparable pleasure.
दुर्गाराधनम्- *८महागौरी*
सदाचारशत्रू्न् तु हन्ति त्रिनेत्री
महागौरि नित्यं नमस्ते प्रसन्ने।
मदीया जनाः संस्कृतार्थं यतन्ते
महागौरि तेभ्यः प्रदत्तात् हि सौख्यम्।
(भुजङ्गप्रयात)
Annihilator of enemies of morality, Oh pleasing Maha Gowri, I prostrate to you daily. My people are striving in the cause of Samskritam. You shall provide for their well being.
महागौरि त्रिस्थे शुभकरि मनोज्ञे भगवति!
त्रिकालज्ञानं मे कुरु भुवनवन्द्ये गिरिसुते।
पठेयं ते तत्वं मुनिभिरुपदिष्टं द्युतिकरं
भवेयं सन्नद्ध: सरलसुरवाणीप्रचरणे।।

Oh Goddess Maha Gowri, residing in three worlds, knowing minds, worshipped all over the universe, daughter of the mountain, bestow me the three dimensional knowledge. I shall study your principles as enunciated by the sages. I have to be ever ready to be part of propagating Simple Samskritam..
दुर्गाराधनं- *९सिद्धिदात्री*
प्रहरति बुधशत्रून् निर्दयं पीडयन्ती
वितरतिसुखसम्पत् सज्जनेभ्यस्सदापि।
विलसतु जनहृत्सु श्रीकरी सिद्धिदात्री
जनयतु चिरलक्ष्यं संस्कृताध्यापनं वै।।
(Malini metre)
Punishing and constantly troubling the enemies of scholars, distributing happiness and wealth among the good Samaritans, let Sidhidatri the maker of prosperity keep busy in the heart of the people and create permanent aim of teaching Samskritam.
ध्यायन् गायन् प्रतिदिनमहं सिद्धिदात्रीं भजामि
देवी सा मे सहजकृपया पाठयेत् दिव्यमन्त्रान्।
मातस्सद्यः बुधजनरिपून् निर्दयं ध्वंसयित्वा
शीघ्रं कुर्या: स्वजनहृदये संस्कृतज्ञानवृद्धिम्।।

I worship Sidhidatri, singing and meditating.
Goddess, shall, out of her inborn kindness, teach me Holy Mantras .
Mother, soon after destroying the enemies of scholars, cultivate growth of Samskritam knowledge in the heart of your devotees.
दुर्गाराधनं *१०.फलश्रुति:।*
पूजासमाप्तौ जगदीश्वरी त्रयी
तृप्ता भवेत् संस्कृतकीर्तनैरुमा।
तुष्टो भवेत् संस्कृतशिक्षकस्सदा
स्वस्तिर्भवेत् संस्कृतकार्यकर्तृषु।।

दुर्गाराधनतत्परा वयमहो देवीमवन्दामहि

देवी श्रीकरुणाकरी शुभकरी स्वप्नं ध्रुवं साधयेत्।।
