Classes for school children
Bala Bharati, an ambitious project of Samskrita Bharati. An innovative scheme to bring Samskritam to schools. This scheme helps the students to study the basics of Samskritam outside the regular syllabus. This will be in a phased manner for 6 years, starting from 3rd standard, when they reach senior classes, they are ready to learn the language more deeply.
Courses in the offering:
All the below mentioned courses can be taught to teachers. Samskrita Bharati will conduct orientation classes exclusively to Teachers.
Each book has to be completed within 35 periods. The school management has to allot one period per week for this purpose.
Latika: Slokas in day to day life, Samskrit alphabets, and simple samskrita words.
लतिका
Mallika: Bala Mukundashtakam, Samskrit words in daily life, simple spoken samskrit
मल्लिका
Lakshmi ashtakam , Compound letters , Basic Samskrit Grammar
कलिका
Maalika: Subhashitani, slokas, Samskrit grammar, Spoken Samskrit
मालिका
Vatika: Subhashitani, Samskrit grammar- Vibhakti, tense, Slokas.
वाटिका
Geetika: Subhashitani, Samskrit grammar, slokas, songs, stories.
गीतिका
1. Provide one period per week for each class. Compulsory for all students starting from 3rd standard.
2. Procure books for every student on annual payment of Rs 50/- per book (incl. examination & certificate)
3. 4 or more Teachers should be sent to our Orientation classes.
4. Encourage the teachers to join the 10 days spoken class and enrol for the correspondence course.
5. Conduct the examination as per the scheme designed, evaluate the answer sheets and forward the marks to Samskrita Bharati for preparing certificate.
FOR TEACHERS
- Special training for direct method of teaching.
- Different drills for giving practice on teaching the language.
- Proper usage of teaching materials.
- To make use of modern facilities like smart board or multimedia for teaching Samskritam.
- Samskritam teacher as a leader or guide for the student
